The Central Florida Fern Co-Op was incorporated in November of 1980. The initial directors were Jack K. Austin, O. Freeman Greenlund, Andrew Powell, Robert T. Sheldon, James L. Cade, Wesley Morris III, Virginia Peterson, Earnest Beasley Jr. and Todd Kepler. The Association is made up of nine board of directors and it's members. It is organized with capital stock (common and preferred). The board meets on the second Wednesday of every month and is open to the membership. The company is composed of fourteen employees. It is open 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8: a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Co-Op stocks chemicals, fertilizers, boxes, building materials, various packaging materials and irrigation supplies. The company has four delivery trucks, two pick ups and delivers in an average of a thirty mile radius.
